Facts:
This is the début album of a young tenor & soprano saxophone and bass clarinet player from Berlin, who had the invaluable benefit of spending five years in New York while developing his improvisational skills. He studied at the New School University in Manhattan with the eminent pianist, Richie Beirach, who says that his pupil has a tone which is essentially his own but which reveals clear indications of the players who inspired him - John Coltrane and Joe Henderson.
