This album, recorded at the end of a European tour by the Larry Coryell Trio, ranks as one of the most impressive of the recent recordings by the dynamic guitarist from Galveston, Texas. Supported by bassist Mark Egan, a pupil of the late Jaco Pastorius, and drummer Paul Wertico, Coryell is in top form in a programme which includes the Monk classics " 'Round Midnight" and "Well You Needn't", the Beatles' "She's Leaving Home" and some inspired originals.
