The tenor- and soprano saxophonist, Alberto Menéndez, has won considerable acclaim for his work with the Mardi Gras Brass Band, which has established itself as one of the leading German ensembles. Menéndez, who has toured with the great Latin and salsa maestro, Eddie Palmieri, here makes his début recording with a quartet comprising pianist Rainer Boehm, bassist Thomas Stabenow and drummer Sebastian Merck, plus special guest, guitarist Russ Spiegel.
